Humber Enterprise Zones

The Humber Enterprise Zones are at the heart of the LEP’s plans to create a Humber Renewable Energy Super Cluster. They will offer tax breaks and a vastly simplified planning process to manufacturers related to renewable energy.

More details on the Enterprise Zones will be published here soon, but in the meantime you may like to read our press releases on our bid and the announcement that it was successful.

  1. THE No. 4 PAULL SITE has been marked as a “Reserve Site” – are you able to give more details about this?

I manage the Hedon Blog community website. The developments around the Enterprise Zone are obviously being watched closely by people in the town and in the village of Paull itself

If you have any information on intentions – or possible options – for this particular site that can be shared on the Hedon Blog – it would be most appreciated.

    • The reserve site was included in case it wasn’t possible to have one of the other sites ready in time (to benefit from the Enterprise Zone tax breaks, companies must begin occupying by April 2015). At the moment, unless there are problems with one of the other sites, it won’t be included in the Enterprise Zone. However, it is still there for development.

  2. Will there be any cash in the pot for the Hull People’s Memorial? This will be the biggest feel-good/tourist pull in the city for many years. EVERYONE want this project, so please; dig deep!
